Festival Schedule

Day 1 - Initiation

Communities from all parts of the Americas came together on the sacred grounds of the Charco for the Initiation of our Festival event. Our hearts were lifted through the significant Ritual of Purification lead by Indigenous leaders. This ritual set the conscious intention for our future Festival work and the spiritual task of marrying our imagination with cultural life.

Day 2 - Preparing the Altar

On the second day the festival community was guided by master teachers into a deep experience of creating a sacred altar.

Through the sharing of biographical stories and working with the symbols of Mother Nature, we offered our gratitude to the Spirit.

Day 3 - Elementals

The community was inspired by the sacred lands we were working on. The rhythms of the event were enlivened by every individual’s participation. Each day we gathered together to honor the kingdoms of Mother Nature by exploring our relationships through artistic practices and activities. This artistic work built a colorful arrangement of experiences with the Elemental Spheres.

Day 4 - Commemoration

Visiting artisans showered our event with gifts inspired from their time on the Charco, ranging from hand-made items to wonderous, sacred foods. On this final day we saw what was truly possible when community comes together and allows the spirit of creativity to guide social activities. This Festival became a story-telling ritual that unveiled a plethora of new possibilities within Anthroposophy.
